CALTEC Corp. was incorporated as a general contractor in 2004. Since then we’ve built for cities, counties, school districts, universities and transit agencies, clients who document everything, audit everything, and hire you again only if you were easy to work with.
That’s shaped how we run a job. The process discipline is institutional. The company is a family’s, now run by its next generation, who joined in 2012, and from whom our systematic project records date.
On every job, a principal runs it, as the project manager or the project executive. Not someone you’ll never meet.
Next-generation leadership came out of architecture (AIA Associate) and construction financial management (CFMA).

The first project for the City of Palm Springs. Secured airline offices built inside the airport’s air operations area, with flights arriving and departing alongside the work, freeing the airlines’ old space for the terminal’s next expansion.

A fire station renovated in service, Beverly Hills #1. The crew never moved out; the station never stopped answering calls.

2023
Eight of one city’s buildings, under one contract, library, fire stations, community center, animal shelter, police, fleet operations. Every one stayed open.

Palm Springs, a fourth time in six years, the Bono Concourse.

Ontario International T2 & T4, underway. The LA County Medical Examiner facility, complete.
