Eligibility Criteria:
Subcontractors
To qualify as a subcontractor under a Local Business (Inland Empire), Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Owned Business Enterprise, or Veteran Owned Small Business for this project, interested businesses must:
- Have their principal headquarters or a permanently staffed regional office in the district or the Inland Empire.
- Possess a business license from one of the cities within the Inland Empire for at least three months.
- Hold a valid contractor’s license from the Contractor’s State License Board for the project’s scope of work.
- Maintain a valid Department of Industrial Relations public works registration for the project duration.
- Agree to adhere to the San Bernardino Community College District Community Benefits Agreement (CBA).
- Be aware that the project is subject to Prevailing Wage laws and may require a performance and payment bond of 100% of the subcontract value.
Suppliers
To qualify as a supplier under a Local Business (Inland Empire), Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Owned Business Enterprise, or Veteran Owned Small Business for this project, interested businesses must:
- Have their principal headquarters or a permanently staffed regional office in the district or the Inland Empire.
- Possess a business license from one of the cities within the Inland Empire for at least three months.
- Supplying a proprietary material or equipment to be used as a permanent fixture for the project must be an authorized manufacturer, distributor, or supplier.
