Subject: Invitation to Bid on Invitation to Bid – OIAA Security Screening Checkpoint Expansion – Diversity and Opportunity
CALTEC Corp. is excited to announce and extend to you an invitation to participate in a transformative opportunity. As an organization dedicated to fostering diversity and supporting the local community, we are seeking bids for a range of trades under a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise policy. - Project Location: Ontario International Airport, 2900 E. Airport Drive, Ontario, CA 91761

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify as a subcontractor for this project, a qualified DBE business must:
- Have a certified DBE status in the California Unified Certification Program;
- A firm is only eligible to be given DBE preference if it’s bidding on NAICS codes contained within its California Unified Certification Program (CUCP) DBE Profile.
- Provide a signed copy of Attachment 3 – Bidder’s List Collection Form of the bid documents at the time of its bid submission.
- Be a qualified DBE is a for-profit small business concern:
- (a) which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically disadvantaged or, in the case of a corporation, in which 51 percent of the stock is owned by one or more such individuals; and
- (b) whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more of the socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own it.
- If bidding as a subcontractor, hold a valid contractor’s license from the Contractor’s State License Board for the project’s scope of work.
- If bidding as a subcontractor, maintain a valid Department of Industrial Relations public works registration for the project duration.
- If bidding as a subcontractor, be aware of and comply with the Prevailing Wage and Davis-Bacon laws to which the project is subject. Submit a Letter of Assent and comply with the requirements of the project Community Workforce Agreement.
- We may require a performance and payment bond of 100% of the subcontract value.
